The current county policy for property disposition and transfer is available for download.

All bids must be submitted via email to surplus@cumberlandcounty.virginia.gov
Please reference SURPLUS PROPERTY in the subject line.

 

Property Available for Release

Bidding Process:

  1. All items are bid on separately on a first come, first serve basis.
  2. Bids are received only by email (surplus@cumberlandcounty.virginia.gov) and must contain your contact information (first & last name + phone number).
  3. Items are distributed in “As-Is” condition and are not guaranteed to be in working condition.
  4. Items are currently available for distribution to the county offices and entities only or avialable for public bidding. Each item's current status is noted in the appropriate field labled "Status". Bidding requests must include bid/offer amount.
  5. All bid offers must be fullfilled (paid) within 10 business days.
